Do you care if someone called you white or caucasian? Or maybe black or African-American?

I have this friend who always wants to be called caucasian and will always correct me if I refer to her as white. I understand..white is not the politically correct term but is it reasonable for me to think it’s kind of annoying and old-fashioned or am I just being ignorant? I understand the whole idea behind what she’s saying but she herself has called a person white, black, spanish(as a general term for Hispanics) many times but she won’t let me refer to her as white?

I wouldn’t like it at all. I’m NDN!!
